Turning 31 in Gibraltar rocked (pun intended)! Beautiful beaches, stunning backdrops and wonderful food. In my 30th year I successfully pulled off what I set out to do: chase my dreams, travel the world, play amateur photographer, and live to tell about it.
My birthday was spent lazily touring the peninsula, enjoying port wine, eating pimientos de Padrón (new favorite food) and swimming – a most cherished pastime!
Over the course of this past jobless year I learned a lot – it is totally possible to go after what you want, to change everything and end up ok, to sleep safely millions of miles away from home and to successfully survive while completely out of your comfort zone.
So goodbye 30! Cheers to sleeping in (due to the joblessness), last minute flights and many more adventure filled years!
P.s. Yes, I did see monkeys:)
